Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Parsippany, NJ / Alpharetta, GA
Type: Contract

Job Description:
We are looking for a strong DevOps Engineer to support AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, CI/CD pipelines, database infrastructure, production resiliency, and security remediation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, EKS, Jenkins, infrastructure automation, monitoring/observability, and Python scripting.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure, with workloads running primarily on Amazon EKS.
Manage and support Kubernetes/EKS environments across enterprise applications.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot a large number of Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Build and maintain infrastructure for databases, including provisioning, configuration, availability, and scalability.
Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 infrastructure support and troubleshoot production issues.
Implement and maintain high availability, resiliency, disaster recovery, and performance improvements.
Monitor applications and infrastructure using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
Automate operational tasks and infrastructure processes using Python scripting.
Collaborate with application, database, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, ensuring infrastructure and applications meet security standards.
