Job Description
Seeking a hands-on Lead Java Developer to join an established enterprise engineering team developing and enhancing cloud-based business applications.
The role is primarily focused on backend development and requires strong Java, Spring Boot, and AWS experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Java backend applications.
- Build scalable services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Develop AWS-based applications using Lambda and Fargate.
- Build and support business rules and rules-engine applications.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical stakeholders.
- Identify technical risks and recommend improvements.
- Work independently while remaining hands-on throughout the SDLC.
Preferred: 7+ years of software engineering, enterprise Java/Spring Boot, AWS Lambda/Fargate, cloud applications, AI development tools, and full-stack experience.
