Pay Range: $65/hr - $75/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop performance test strategies, test plans, scenarios, workloads, and scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Execute load, stress, scalability, volume, concurrency, and endurance tests.
- Create and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner/VuGen, LRE Performance Center, BlazeMeter, or comparable tools.
- Administer, configure, migrate, and troubleshoot OpenText ALM/Quality Center and LRE Performance Center environments.
- Manage test environments, load generators, configurations, upgrades, incidents, and service requests.
- Analyze test results and application monitoring data to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
- Prepare performance test reports, document findings, track risks, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
- Coordinate testing activities and support production-readiness decisions.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and improve performance testing standards, tools, and processes.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 10+ years of software or application testing experience, including hands-on performance testing.
- Strong experience with LoadRunner/VuGen, LRE Performance Center, and OpenText ALM/Quality Center.
- Experience with ALM migration, administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of performance testing protocols, including HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, web services, ODBC/JDBC, Citrix, SAP, and browser-based applications.
- Experience with BlazeMeter or comparable enterprise performance testing tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with technical and business teams.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level applications and complex testing environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience mentoring team members and improving testing processes.
