Looking for 7-9yrs years of Experience
We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to join our Application Development team. You will work on both frontend and backend development to support, update, and build enterprise web applications. You will write server-side code using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot, while crafting responsive user interfaces with Angular, JavaScript, and CSS. Candidates with exposure to or a willingness to learn Google Web Toolkit (GWT) are highly preferred, as you will help maintain existing applications and assist in modernizing our tech stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Feature Development: Assist in designing and building backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Apache CXF
- UI Implementation: Develop responsive user interfaces, forms, and views using Angular, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Application Maintenance: Support, debug, and enhance legacy application modules built on Google Web Toolkit (GWT) under the guidance of senior developers.
- Testing: Write frontend unit tests using Jest and backend unit tests using Mockito and JUnit.
- Troubleshooting: Debug code issues, fix software defects, and optimize application performance across the stack.
Required Technical Skills
- Java Foundations: Solid understanding of Java (Java 17+), core concepts, collections, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Spring Framework: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and MVC patterns.
- Web Basics: Strong foundational knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
- Angular Framework: Practical experience building single-page applications using Angular (components, services, and routing).
- Testing Tools: Experience or familiarity with frontend testing via Jest and backend mocking using Mockito.
- Databases: Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) using Hibernate or JDBC.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git for version control and Maven or Gradle for building automation.
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Prior exposure to Google Web Toolkit (GWT) or experience migrating old frameworks to modern JavaScript/TypeScript architectures.
- Understanding of REST API principles and tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
