Junior Business Analyst to join our consulting team. This role is ideal for candidates with
1-2 years of professional business analysis experience following completion of a Bachelor's degree who are looking to grow their consulting, business process, and technology skills.
Your roleThe Junior Business Analyst will partner with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, document solutions, and support project delivery. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced client environment.
Your skills & experience- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and meetings.
- Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
- Support Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Facilitate meetings with business and technology stakeholders.
- Analyze current-state and future-state business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with backlog management, requirements prioritization, and acceptance criteria definition.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and business validation.
- Document business processes, workflows, and operating procedures.
- Perform data analysis and reporting using Excel and other reporting tools.
- Track project risks, issues, action items, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, status reports, and meeting documentation.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of professional Business Analyst experience after graduation.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience supporting Agile and/or Scrum projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
- Experience creating process flows, business requirements, user stories, and functional documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior consulting experience or experience working with external clients.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Exposure to digital transformation, eCommerce, CRM, ERP, or enterprise application projects.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools.
- CAPM, ECBA, or Agile-related certifications are a plus.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $43,984 - $105,600.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
