The Senior Tax Accountant / CPA will play an integral role in providing sophisticated
tax planning, tax compliance, and consulting services for individuals, businesses, trusts,
and estates. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of public accounting
experience, possess strong technical tax knowledge, and be comfortable working
directly with clients while collaborating with attorneys on complex planning matters.

$125,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:- Prepare and review individual, business, trust, and fiduciary tax returns.
- Develop proactive tax planning strategies for individuals and closely held businesses.
- Provide year-round tax consulting and advisory services.
- Research complex federal and state tax issues.
- Represent clients before the IRS and state taxing authorities when appropriate.
- Assist clients with tax compliance, estimated tax planning, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with attorneys on estate planning, business succession planning, and wealth preservation strategies.
- Review financial statements and tax information to identify planning opportunities and minimize tax exposure.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure clients receive accurate and strategic guidance.
Qualifications:- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of public accounting experience required.
- Extensive experience preparing complex individual, business, trust, and fiduciary tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Experience with tax planning and strategic tax consulting.
- Experience representing clients before the IRS or state taxing authorities is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with estate and trust taxation is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
