Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities- Design and size key system components such as transformers, DFE, AFE, MB, and input/output filters to meet specifications and standards.
- Develop vector control programs for power bridges (IGBT or thyristor) connected to various loads (e.g., machines or grids).
- Define machine sequences based on technical constraints and customer process requirements; develop integrated control solutions for applications such as marine propulsion, rolling mills, and compressors.
- Validate programs on real-time systems during integration tests.
- Adapt and define electrotechnical models for HIL tests using RT-LAB real-time simulators, optimizing hardware resources.
- Provide remote or on-site commissioning support as needed.
Required Qualifications- Master's degree from an accredited university or college in the field of electrical engineering with about 3 years of advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Electrical Engineering.
Desired Characteristics- Strong understanding of transformers and polyphase motors.
- Solid understanding of power electronics and static converters, including rectifiers, inverters, and VSDs.
- Expertise in Field-Oriented Control (FOC) of electric motors.
- Knowledge of PWM technologies (H3, GDPWM, SVM, etc.).
- Experience in system modeling (Transformer + VFD + Motor).

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
