- Contribute to design and analysis of power stages (e.g., converters, inverters, rectifiers, filters) and associated magnetics/transformers to meet performance, efficiency, and thermal requirements.
- Review electrical schematics, PCB fabrication/assembly drawings, and BOMs for RF and power electronics designs; recommend improvements for manufacturability, testability, and reliability.
Testing, Troubleshooting, and Repair- Develop and execute test plans for RF and power electronics assemblies, including board-level and system-level verification.
- Perform bench-level troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other test equipment.
- Diagnose failures in RF paths, power stages, and transformers; support repair activities and component replacements.
- Conduct structured root cause analysis (e.g., fault tree, 5 Whys, data reviews) for recurring hardware and test issues and drive corrective actions to closure.
Technical Writing and Reporting- Prepare clear technical reports documenting test results, failure investigations, and corrective actions for RF and power electronics hardware.
