Network Engineer

Must Have: Palo Alto Panorama, Palo Alto Firewall and network engineering troubleshooting experience (ex. packet capture analysis)

· Assist with business requirement assessment of new projects requested by NEER subsidiaries and help deploy/implement network solutions.
· Projects include infrastructure to support our back-office functions for battery, wind, solar, and fossil plants.
· Under limited supervision, contribute in a hands-on manner with the implementation of network infrastructure.
· Create as-built design documentation for all new projects and maintain the availability and integrity of our enterprise network security infrastructure.
· Maintain the security of network infrastructure and compliance with all applicable industry and security standards (NERC CIP, PCI, SOX etc.)
· Collaborates with NextEra''s engineering and architecture groups; works with project team members to define requirements and deliver projects.
· Partners with Architects and project teams, to ensure integration of application / infrastructure architectures with enterprise blueprints and roadmaps.
· Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task projects with exceptional interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
