Senior UAT Lead

Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project:

This person will support a large-scale technology modernization initiative focused on managing and monitoring remote energy assets, including windmills and solar panels. This role will support a major migration from a legacy Oracle environment to AWS Databricks while coordinating testing activities across 12 integrated applications connected to a Solar AI platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing test plans, scheduling resources, coordinating parallel testing efforts throughout October and November, and ensuring smooth communication between technical and business teams. Success in this role requires strong testing and project coordination experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a hybrid technical leader and project coordinator who can effectively bring business and IT stakeholders together, drive testing initiatives, resolve issues quickly, and ensure successful execution of a large-scale migration and system integration program.

Required Skills:

Must have experience leading UAT, QA, or enterprise testing initiatives in a Lead level role

Strong experience with data migrations, including legacy Oracle environments and cloud platforms such as AWS and Databricks.

Hands-on knowledge of SQL, database validation, and big data solutions.

Strong understanding of the performance tools and how that's measured

Experience coordinating large-scale testing efforts across multiple integrated applications.

Strong understanding of data validation and end-to-end testing methodologies.

Strong technical background combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Excellent project coordination, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Experience migrating from Oracle to AWS
