Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting using professional diagnostic equipment
- Complete general automotive repairs, maintenance, and thorough vehicle inspections
- Perform digital vehicle inspections using Shop-Ware
- Accurately document diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and completed work
- Communicate repair needs and findings with service advisors and shop leadership
- Maintain high standards for repair quality and efficiency
- Handle a workload that includes approximately 30%-35% diagnostic work
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional automotive technician experience
- A-Level or strong B-Level technical ability
- Strong general automotive repair experience
- Automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience diagnosing drivability concerns and automotive electrical systems
- Independent repair shop or dealership experience
