We are seeking an experienced Back-End Engineer and Team Lead to build scalable, high-performance enterprise applications on Google Cloud Platform. In this position, you will serve as a hands-on technical leader, guiding developer delivery, setting engineering standards, and architecting resilient microservices from design through production support.

responsibilities:
- Lead back-end application architecture and development using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful microservices.
- Design, build, and deploy cloud-native, event-driven solutions on Google Cloud Platform (using Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Secret Manager).
- Provide day-to-day technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members while running code reviews and enforcing best practices.
- Implement containerized deployments using Docker, automated CI/CD pipelines, and robust SRE/observability practices (logging, tracing, monitoring).
qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java.
5+ years of production experience with Spring Boot and REST API microservices architectures.
3+ years of direct experience building and deploying cloud applications on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Demonstrated experience acting as a technical lead mentoring and guiding software engineering teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Google Pub/Sub and asynchronoevent-driven message processing.
Prior domain background in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Retail environments.
Deep knowledge of relational database design, complex SQL optimization, and cloud security best practices.
