Commercial Security Systems Installation TechnicianKey Responsibilities- Install and configure commercial security systems, including:
- Access Control Systems
- IP-Based Video Surveillance (CCTV)
- Intrusion Detection and Alarm Systems
- Intercom and Communication Systems
- Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling.
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and system drawings.
- Mount and install cameras, control panels, card readers, door hardware, and related equipment.
- Perform system programming, testing, and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues as needed.
- Complete service documentation and maintain accurate project records.
- Ensure installations comply with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at customer job sites.
- Provide professional interaction with customers, project managers, and team members.
QualificationsRequired- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience installing low-voltage systems, security systems, telecommunications, or related technologies.
- Basic understanding of wiring methods, cable termination, and low-voltage installation practices.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and ladders.
- Ability to read and follow installation documentation and wiring diagrams.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background screening as required for customer sites.
Preferred- 2-3 years of experience in commercial security installations.
- Experience with access control platforms, IP cameras, and intrusion alarm systems.
- Industry certifications such as:
- OSHA 10
- ESA Certified Alarm Technician
- Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Brivo, or similar manufacturer certifications
- Basic networking knowledge, including IP addressing and device connectivity.
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on ladders and lifts.
- Ability to work in construction and renovation environments.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work overhead for extended periods.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
