Summary

Business Analyst - Data Analyst

We're looking for a Business/Data Analyst who can combine strong data skills with technical problem-solving, working closely with both business and technical teams.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports (Power Query, DAX, data modeling)
Write SQL queries to analyze, validate, and integrate data
Support business decisions through data and operational analysis
Build scripts, tools, and automations using Python, JavaScript, SQL, and APIs
Test systems and validate data quality (QA)
Spot opportunities to improve data, reporting, and processes
Maintain existing dashboards, integrations, and automation tools
Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, GIS staff, and other stakeholders
Document technical work and support training/knowledge-sharing

What You Need

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years in data analysis, systems analysis, BI, or application support
Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and relational databases
Experience with Python, JavaScript, or APIs
Strong communication skills - able to work with both technical and non-technical people

Nice to Have

Accela Civic Platform experience
Background with local government planning/permitting/licensing systems
Agile experience
Familiarity with Jira, SSMS, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint
