We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Security Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, service, and troubleshoot commercial security systems, including
access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and low-voltage infrastructure. You'll work alongside project leads, superintendents, and customers to deliver high-quality security solutions in commercial environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working with cutting-edge security technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and service commercial access control and CCTV systems
- Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling
- Assist with system startup, programming, and commissioning activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, and installation standards
- Complete project documentation, service reports, and testing records
- Ensure installations meet customer requirements and quality standards
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and fellow technicians to meet project deadlines
Required Qualifications- Experience installing or servicing security systems, access control, or CCTV solutions
- Knowledge of low-voltage cabling installation and termination practices
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues in the field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professional work ethic
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working on commercial construction sites
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, IP-based cameras, and connected devices
- Manufacturer certifications in security, access control, or video surveillance systems
- Experience with system commissioning and startup procedures

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
