What you will you do
\nJohnson Controls is hiring an HVAC Equipment Systems Application Engineer! In this exciting role, you will assist with pre-and-post sales activities on building systems and equipment project opportunities.
\nPre-sales activities include, but are not limited to, system configuration validation, HVAC equipment and or controls selection for basis of design as well as bidding, application and pricing. This role will receive directions and coaching support from assigned account executives and sales leadership on pre-sale needs and expectations.
\nPost-sales activities include equipment execution that is profitable, accurate, on time, within the scope of the contract and aligning with customers expectations. You will develop and provide detailed engineering information and submittals to communicate design, configuration, operating and installation requirements to customers, consultants, Johnson Controls service and vital subcontractors. Get ready to work with assigned sales teams to maintain an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results when performing pre-sales and or post sales duties! This role is based in Linthicum, MD. Candidates must be commuting distance to Linthicum, MD, or able and willing to relocate.

\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $68,000 - $93,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
