A bit about us:We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume industrial manufacturing operation in Manchester, NH. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production machinery and plant equipment, with a strong emphasis on industrial electrical systems, controls, PLCs, drives, and motor controls.
The ideal candidate is an experienced industrial maintenance professional who is strongest electrically but also has the mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair production equipment when needed.

Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, controls, and mechanical issues on industrial production machinery.
- Diagnose equipment failures and minimize production downtime.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, AC/DC drives, motor controls, sensors, positioning devices, and other industrial control components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment documentation.
- Perform electrical installations, modifications, and repairs on production equipment.
- Install and replace electrical and electronic components.
- Bend conduit and complete clean, professional industrial electrical installations.
- Use multimeters, calibration equipment, and other electrical diagnostic tools.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant machinery and electrical/control systems.
- Assist with mechanical maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Support equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, shift notes, and equipment documentation.
- Assist with spare parts inventory and communicate with equipment vendors and technical support when necessary.
- Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and outside contractors.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and applicable OSHA requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 5+ years of electrical and controls experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled production equipment.
- Experience with AC/DC drives, motor controls, and industrial control components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist with machine maintenance and repair.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience using multimeters and electrical troubleshooting/diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to bend conduit and perform quality industrial electrical installations.
- Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and controls.
- Journeyman Electrician license.
- Associate degree or technical education in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or a related discipline.
- Experience with CMMS, preventive maintenance, or work-order tracking systems.
