We are seeking a Technical Architect – AI-Native to provide advanced architectural leadership within an assigned business area. The role will translate business and product requirements into clear, implementable technical specifications and help orchestrate AI agents and engineering workflows to produce delivery-ready solutions across applications, services, APIs, data flows, and platform components.
The Technical Architect will drive architecture, establish technical standards, guide design decisions, and work closely with engineering teams to ensure solutions are effectively implemented. This role requires a balance of strategic architecture leadership and hands-on technical depth, with strong expertise in modern application architecture, cloud-native systems, distributed applications, APIs, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
Responsibilities
Define and drive architecture for the assigned business area, translating business strategy and product priorities into implementable solutions and technical designs.
Design solutions incorporating AI-enabled capabilities where they provide clear business value.
Establish guardrails for safe, effective, and responsible use of AI within applications and workflows.
Advance AI-assisted development practices, including copilots, code generation, automated testing, intelligent engineering workflows, agents, and reusable AI skills.
Establish and reinforce architecture standards, patterns, and technical guardrails.
Lead design reviews and major technical decisions involving APIs, services, data flows, and platform components.
Partner with developers and technical leads to ensure architecture is effectively implemented.
Identify architectural risks and guide trade-offs involving cost, scalability, reliability, security, maintainability, and delivery speed.
Collaborate with product, engineering, platform, security, data, and other teams.
Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms for applicability to business and technology roadmaps.
Improve engineering effectiveness through modern architecture patterns, automation, observability, and AI-native delivery practices.
Mentor developers, technical leads, and other architects.
Drive initiatives from architecture and design through implementation and operational outcomes.
