Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking an Operating Engineer 2 to join their team. As an Operating Engineer 2, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $33-36/hr
What\'s the Job?
\t- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across various systems. \t
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to ensure optimal performance. \t
- Monitor equipment operation, record readings, and make necessary adjustments. \t
- Maintain safety standards by following departmental policies for hazardous materials and workplace safety. \t
- Coordinate with outside contractors, monitor work quality, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
What\'s Needed?
\t- High School Diploma or Equivalent. \t
- 2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems. \t
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems. \t
- EPA 608 Type II Certification. \t
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Word and Excel.
