Job Description:

*We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist, Software Engineer/Cloud Developer to join our team.
\\n
*The ideal candidate will hold an active TS/SCI clearance and work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base.
\\n
*This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
\\n
*You will work to develop secure cloud applications in mission-critical environments where resilience, reliability and operational speed matter.
\\n
*You'll partner directly with customers and engineers to translate mission needs into practical software capabilities that protect information and deliver an intelligence advantage.
\\n
\\n
Key Responsibilities:
\\n
Leverage experience in cloud development in AWS to build robust cloud-based applications.
\\n
Migrate existing applications into cloud-based architecture
\\n
Ensure that the applications are scalable, secure, and cost-effective by utilizing the best practices and services provided by AWS.
\\n
Engage in daily interactions with customers to understand their requirements and provide suitable cloud-based solutions.
\\n
Produce detailed documentation to support the design, development, and deployment processes, ensuring clarity and reproducibility.
\\n
Adapt to support various mission areas, demonstrating flexibility and a strong commitment to achieving mission success.
\\n
\\n
Qualifications:
\\n
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
\\n
Active TS/SCI clearance.
\\n
DoD IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+) must be obtained within 80 days of hire.
\\n
\\n
Preferred Additional Skills:
\\n
On-site/field experience.
\\n
Cloud migration experience.
\\n
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief both technical and non-technical audiences.
\\n
Experience with automating deployments and configuration of EC2 instances.
\\n
Familiarity with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments.
\\n
Experience with configuration of Gitlab pipelines for automated deployment of cloud resources.
\\n
Proficiency in designing, developing, configurating, and deploying cloud-based applications using AWS services.
\\n
A collaborative team player with experience working in a dynamic team environment.
\\n
\\n
