Responsibilities

Bring aerospace structural analysis background to solve complex problems and influence design decisions
Contribute to programs with lasting impact on high impact aerospace programs
Mentor and guide junior engineers in structural analysis techniques
Perform static, dynamic, and/or DaDT structural analyses on metallic and/or composite airframe structures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure structural integrity and performance of aerospace systems
Contribute to the development of new analysis methodologies and tools
Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for structural improvements

Requirements

Required Skills:

Must have an active DoD Secret clearance
Bachelor''s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years of experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis; OR Master''s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis; OR Ph.D. degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience to include a background in aerospace structural analysis
Experience performing static, dynamic, and/or DaDT structural analyses on metallic and/or composite airframe structures

Preferred Skills:

Experience with finite element analysis software
Knowledge of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
