Role Overview
We are seeking an ISE Engineer with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Network Access Control (NAC) solutions using Cisco ISE. The role involves providing high-level support for NAC-related issues, participating in on-call rotations, and managing multiple priorities in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity engineering and identity integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support NAC solutions utilizing Cisco ISE.
- Develop and manage Policy Sets for authentication and authorization.
- Handle endpoint profiling, posturing, and guest/BYOD onboarding workflows.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for all NAC-related incidents and problems.
- Integrate identity services with Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure AD.
- Maintain network authentication runbooks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and architecture diagrams.
- Participate in change management processes, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- Work within enterprise environments that adhere to strict change control procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (versions 2.x / 3.x).
Technical Skills:- Proficiency with Policy Sets, Conditions, Profiles, and Rules logic in Cisco ISE.
- Strong understanding of 802.1X (wired and wireless) and MAB (MAC Authentication Bypass).
- Experience with PKI and EAP methods (PEAP, EAP-TLS, EAP-FAST).
- Knowledge of RADIUS and TACACS+.
- Experience with authentication and identity integration across Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure AD.
