Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a
Systems Engineering Manager to join our
Attack Program team in
Mesa, AZ.
Join us, and you will have the unique opportunity to provide Systems Engineering support to the Apache AH-64 and AH-6 Little Bird programs, as well as to IWA programs.
We are looking for a Proven Leader to manage a team of employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering for Attack Programs, including IWA support.
Position Responsibilities:- Lead a team of employees performing Engineering and Technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering.
- Develop and execute project and process plans.
- Implement policies and procedures and set operational goals.
- Acquire resources for projects and processes.
- Provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manage, develop, and motivate employees.

- 5 years' experience working in an Engineering discipline.
- External candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience).
- Internal candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership".
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Experience with Systems Engineering & Analysis
- Experience with Requirements Management
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
