Summary

Note: We are looking for candidates with 10+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise as an MLOps Engineer. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Vertex AI-based batch processing pipelines and ML pipeline components. This is a Day 1 onsite opportunity in Minneapolis, MN, and local candidates are strongly preferred.

Job Description:

Recommend focusing on candidates with strong experience in Vertex AI-based batch processing pipelines. The candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of:

End-to-end ML pipeline components:

Data preprocessing
Batch prediction workflows
Post-processing activities

Building and orchestrating ML pipelines using:

Kubeflow Pipelines (KFP components)
Google Cloud Dataflow (including Flex Templates)
Vertex AI services

Additionally, candidates should be comfortable with:

Writing SQL queries for data preprocessing and post-processing tasks
Developing Python-based workflows to integrate and orchestrate multiple pipeline components
Deploying and managing batch prediction jobs in Vertex AI
Data engineering concepts and large-scale data processing

Strong SQL and data engineering expertise would be a significant advantage.
