Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Consultant to provide functional and technical support for SAP GTS environments while ensuring effective management of global trade compliance processes. The consultant will be responsible for supporting business operations, resolving application issues, managing system enhancements, and improving trade-related processes through SAP GTS solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting SAP GTS modules, strong knowledge of international trade regulations, and the ability to collaborate with business users, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 functional support for SAP GTS applications, including compliance management and related global trade processes.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP GTS incidents, user issues, and system-related challenges within defined service levels.
Work closely with business teams to understand requirements, evaluate process improvements, and recommend SAP GTS solutions.
Configure, maintain, and enhance SAP GTS functionalities based on business needs and regulatory requirements.
Support integration between SAP GTS and SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA environments, as well as external third-party applications.
Assist with change requests, system enhancements, testing activities, and deployment of approved solutions.
Monitor SAP GTS system performance and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational stability.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, process guides, configuration documents, and user training materials.
Collaborate with functional teams including supply chain, logistics, compliance, and business operations to optimize global trade processes.
Stay informed on evolving international trade regulations and recommend system updates or process adjustments to maintain compliance.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline.
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting and implementing SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solutions.
Strong functional understanding of SAP GTS capabilities, including:
- Compliance Management
- Trade screening processes
- Customs and regulatory requirements
- Global trade process optimization
Experience troubleshooting SAP GTS issues and providing production support.
Knowledge of SAP integration concepts involving SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA systems.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience participating in SAP GTS implementation, upgrades, or enhancement projects.
Exposure to SAP change management processes, project delivery activities, and release management.
Experience working independently in a remote consulting environment.
Familiarity with global customs regulations, export controls, and international trade compliance practices.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing business requirements.
