Engineering Technician to support our Design, Test, and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving test fixtures and test systems while providing hands-on technical support to engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities- Build, maintain, and repair test fixtures and test systems
- Troubleshoot electronic assemblies, test cells, fixtures, and computers to the component level
- Assist engineers with test fixture design and prototype development
- Write, evaluate, and update test procedures
- Provide technical support and training to electronics technicians
- Perform routine maintenance on test equipment
- Support engineering projects and new product introductions
Qualifications & Skills- Strong soldering and rework skills (through-hole and SMT components)
- Advanced troubleshooting abilities (analog, digital, and embedded systems)
- Ability to read and modify schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, LCR meters, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and ESD standards
- Familiarity with networking technologies (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
- Experience with 3D printing and mechanical systems preferred
- Strong PC skills (hardware and software)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Education & Experience- Associate degree in a related technical field with 4+ years of relevant experience
OR - Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with 2+ years of relevant experience
