Job Title: SDET Quality Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SDET Quality Engineer to perform manual and automated testing of complex end-to-end web and mobile browser flows. The role will focus heavily on desktop/mobile browser testing, authentication workflows, Figma design validation, browser extensions, and cross-surface integrations. The engineer will work closely with web and mobile development teams and contribute to Playwright, Appium, and Sauce Labs-based automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing across desktop browsers, mobile browsers, and native iOS/Android applications.
- Test complex end-to-end identity verification and authentication workflows.
- Validate web-to-mobile and mobile-to-web flows, including deep links and redirects.
- Identify gaps between Figma designs and actual application behavior.
- Create detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and designs.
- Test authentication, authorization, and security-related workflows.
- Test browser extensions and their integration with web applications.
- Execute regression, exploratory, functional, and integration testing.
- Test camera-based document scanning and liveness detection workflows.
- Validate interoperability between web applications, mobile devices, external hardware, and backend services.
- Perform API testing using Postman and REST/JSON services.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright, Selenium, or Python/pytest.
- Execute tests across multiple browsers, devices, operating systems, and environments.
- Document defects with clear reproduction steps, logs, and environment details using Jira.
- Maintain test cases and regression suites using Qase or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, QA teams, and hardware partners to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
- Support testing of applications deployed on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Participate in CI/CD testing using tools such as GitHub Actions.
Required Skills:
- Role Focus on Web, Mobile Browser, Automation & End-to-End Testing
- 5+ years of professional QA/SDET experience
- Strong web application testing experience with complex E2E workflows
- Strong desktop and mobile browser testing
- Experience with Playwright OR Python/pytest OR Selenium — at least one is required
- Strong understanding of authentication testing
- Experience identifying gaps between Figma designs and implemented applications
- Browser extension testing experience
- REST API testing with Postman
- Manual and automated testing experience
- Strong test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect reporting
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
