Senior AI Silicon Architect to join the team.
Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership through all phases of silicon ASIC development. Primarily focused on early specification and architecture areas related to one or more of the following: Security, Debug, telemetry, RAS, error handling, firmware/software interface, boot/reset flows, power management
- Develop Silicon Architecture Specifications for AI Accelerator
- Collaborate with AI Software and Hardware teams to drive the optimum silicon architecture for current and future AI Models
- Support and guide Design, DV, Emulation, Firmware, and Kernel development teams through End-to-End Silicon development cycle

QualificationsRequired/minimum qualifications- Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience.

These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- This role will require access to information that is controlled for export under export control regulations, potentially under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations or Export Administration Regulations, the EU Dual Use Regulation, and/or other export control regulations. Preferred Qualifications: - 2+ years of silicon architecture experience
- Proven experience leading at least three end-to-end silicon programs through architecture, design, tape-out, bring-up, validation, and production readiness
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across architecture, design, software, firmware, verification, product engineering, and system teams.
- Expertise with one or more of the following is a plus: ARM Coresight components, confidential compute, FIT rate analysis
- Experience driving hardware/software co-design for AI and high-performance computing systems
- Experience with high-power, large-scale SoC, and multi-chiplet architectures
- System-level architectural thinking with the ability to balance performance, power, area, cost, and time-to-market tradeoffs.
Silicon Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
