Physician?Assistant?-?Thoracic Surgery Service?? Day Shifts?- Columbia Campus

Join our team as a full-time Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant and be a part of a comprehensive team covering surgical patients admitted to the hospital. Every day, we are meeting the needs of patients with extraordinarily diverse problems, performing complex procedures including hybrid, minimally invasive, and robotic procedures.
?As?a?Thoracic?Surgery?PA, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of residents and surgeons covering this busy surgical service. There?are opportunities to grow, teach, and have significant autonomy. The position primarily consists of post-operative management of patients on the step-down unit and floor. In this role, PAs serve as the front-line providers rounding with attending surgeons, writing notes, orders, and performing necessary bedside procedures.
This?position?consists?of (4)10-hour shifts/week, some weekend day shifts, no?call?or?holiday coverage.??

Background?in?Surgery?and/or?Medicine
At?least?1?year?of experience
Strong new graduates with a demonstrated passion?for?surgery?are?also encouraged to apply
