Senior Laboratory Technologist- Microbiology - Days
As the largest and busiest Microbiology department in New York, we set the standards for our field. Our technologists are conducting the widest array of testing in this fast-paced, high-volume environment. Here, you will gain more experience with analysis not being performed anywhere else, we offer unlimited opportunities to advance your expertise.
Take the next step in your career and join the team as a Senior Laboratory Technologist. In addition to technical responsibilities,you will assume some supervision and coordination of the activities of the laboratory personnel in the performance of quantitative and qualitative test. Here, you will have the ability to train and guide laboratory technologist, participate in problem-solving processes and maintain quality assurance and quality control standards, among other responsibilities.
This is a full-time day shift position 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday including rotating weekends/holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Preferred Criteria
Required Criteria
A minimum of two years experience of in Microbiology.
A Bachelor?s degreein Medical Technology (or equivalent experience)
New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department
