Senior Performance Engineer

Summary

Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.

Experience building and supporting high-volume, low-latency distributed applications in Banking, Financial Services, Trading, or similar enterprise environments.

Hands-on experience performing Performance Testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or k6, including Load, Stress, Spike, Soak, Capacity, and Volume Testing.

Strong understanding of Java Virtual Machine (JVM) internals, including:

Class Loading

JVM Memory Model (Heap, Stack, Metaspace)

Execution Engine

Garbage Collection

Thread Management

Memory Management

Experience tuning JVM performance, analyzing behavior, resolving memory leaks, and optimizing application throughput and latency.

Experience using Java profiling and diagnostic tools such as JProfiler, YourKit, VisualVM, Java Flight Recorder (JFR), or Java Mission Control (JMC).

Hands-on experience analyzing thread dumps, heap dumps, CPU utilization, and application bottlenecks.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Splunk.

Strong experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms AWS
