A growing A/E (architecture/engineering) firm with regional reach across New England is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design. This role works on commercial, municipal, healthcare, industrial, and institutional facilities, with involvement throughout the full project delivery process. The position offers a hybrid schedule.

Compensation
$150,000 - $180,000 Per Year
What You\'ll Do
This engineer leads power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems design, including load calculations, equipment sizing, one-line diagrams, and detailed drawings. The role includes coordination with architects, structural engineers, and project teams throughout design, along with construction administration duties such as site visits and technical reviews. This position maintains QA/QC standards to ensure technical accuracy, mentors junior engineers, and guides technical decision-making across projects. The engineer also interacts directly with clients and presents design solutions as part of the project team.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Eight or more years of electrical building systems design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and related engineering tools
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and energy efficiency principles
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple market sectors (commercial, municipal, healthcare, industrial, institutional)
- Experience in an integrated delivery environment spanning engineering, construction, and program services
- Familiarity with both public and private sector project work
Compensation and Benefits
