Description
Artheon, a trusted leader in engineering, surveying, and planning, is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Civil Engineer to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in land development, infrastructure design, and municipal engineering. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, creativity, and a collaborative spirit to deliver high-quality design solutions.
Responsibilities
Design and Drafting:
Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
Permitting and Compliance:
Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Project Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
Technical Reports:
Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus.
Licensing:
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or a willingness to obtain it.
Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
