Duties: Responsible for installing and configuring the requirements to build servers, including drivers, vendor software, and home grown code (MLSF framework); address the issues arising in the test environment, documenting the fixes and coming up with plans to avoid the repetition of same problems in the future; install home grown and vendor software based on the documented steps in production environment; support issues with deployments in the production environments; provide third-level support, including incident troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution for web applications; utilize Autosys, Splunk, Wireshark, WinSCP, OpenSSH, PowerShell, VB scripting, Global Traffic Manager, Local Traffic Manager, Ansible Tower, Jenkins, and Digital.ai Release to perform duties; responsible for day-to-day administrating, including installation, testing, tuning, upgrading and loading patches; responsible for troubleshooting server problems including drive space, performance issues, and memory leak analysis; troubleshoot application integration issues in Windows cross platform environment; analyze IIS logs; troubleshoot .Net based web application integration issues in Windows environment; and migrate windows 2012 applications from lower version of .Net and IIS to a higher version 2019/2022.
Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;
Salary: $160,784 per year (standard benefits apply);
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Chemistry, Physics, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Cloud System Engineer, as a Lead Systems Engineer, as a Middleware Engineer, as a Middleware Technical Lead, as a Software Engineer, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: Autosys, Splunk, Wireshark, WinSCP, OpenSSH, PowerShell, VB scripting, Global Traffic Manager, Local Traffic Manager, Ansible Tower, Jenkins, and Digital.ai Release.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
