Work Model: Hybrid – 4 days/week in office (Monday–Thursday)

Job Description

We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer with 3-5+ years of experience to join a fast-growing AI healthcare startup and own projects that span the entire stack. You will be building greenfield products that automate the healthcare recruiting pipeline, from sourcing to onboarding, at a company already powering thousands of candidate interactions monthly and scaling toward millions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Own and deliver greenfield projects across the full stack, including backend, infrastructure, and frontend.
• Evolve and scale platform architecture as the product grows from thousands to millions of candidate interactions.
• Build and ship end-to-end features in a TypeScript-first environment on serverless AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate directly with engineering leadership and company founders with short feedback loops and significant autonomy.
• Help establish engineering standards, best practices, and technical culture as a key early team member.

Required Experience

• 5–7 years of full-stack software engineering experience
• 2+ years at a VC-backed startup
• Experience building and scaling high-throughput distributed systems
• Strong observability, monitoring, and reliability expertise

Candidate Profile / Additional Information

• Experience at both an early-stage startup (Series A or lower) and a larger-scale company.
• Nice-to-have: experience at a big tech company such as Amazon, Apple, Meta, etc., or a tier-one startup such as Ramp, Stripe, etc.
• Open to current or former founders as long as they had some element of real traction/product, such as paying customers, funding, etc.

Traits to Avoid

• 3+ big tech companies with no startup experience
• Stagnant at SDE1 level for 2+ years at a big tech company
• Pure specialist unwilling to work across the stack
