Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Hogan Application Developer with strong Core Banking expertise and hands-on IBM Mainframe development experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting Hogan banking applications in a regulated banking environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the Hogan Core Banking platform.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design, develop, and support Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective technical solutions.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and technical stakeholders.
Support application releases, deployments, and change management activities.
Prepare and maintain technical and application documentation.
Follow established development, testing, release, and change-management processes.

Required Qualifications

Multiple years of hands-on Hogan Application Development experience within Core Banking environments.
Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and IBM Mainframe/z/OS.
Experience with one or more Hogan modules, including CIS, DDA, TDA, LNS, IDS/Umbrella, or PEM.
Strong understanding of Core Banking processes such as deposits, loans, account processing, fees, and transaction processing.
Experience with Mainframe tools such as TSO/ISPF, Endevor/ChangeMan, File-AID, and SDSF.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a regulated banking environment.
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and change-management processes.
