Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Information Security, Security Engineering, or Infrastructure Security.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure security in multi-account environments.
Strong understanding of cloud-native security controls, logging, detection, key management, and remediation.
Experience with network and system security.
Experience with Cisco security technologies, Meraki firewalls, and Cisco security/client solutions.
Strong Python or scripting experience for security automation.
Strong knowledge of IAM, privilege management, least privilege, and key management.
Experience with application security, threat modeling, and CI/CD security.
Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security remediation.
Experience with security operations and incident response.
Experience working with SOC 2, ISO 27001/27xxx, PCI DSS, or similar compliance frameworks.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS or Azure security certifications.
CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or similar security certification.
Experience integrating commercial or open-source security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in financial services, fintech, banking, or other highly regulated environments.
Experience writing security-related RFPs.
Strong understanding of modern cloud security architecture and DevSecOps.

The ideal candidate is a stable, hands-on Senior Security Engineer with a strong cloud-security background, excellent AWS/Azure expertise, security automation skills, and experience working in financial or fintech environments. Candidates should demonstrate a consistent career history and the ability to work onsite in NYC five days per week.
