Genesis10 is currently seeking a Solutions Architect for a Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in New York, NY. This is a 6 month contract opportunity. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions within a dynamic, cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will build and support event-driven architectures using Kafka and MQ, develop data pipelines with Databricks and SQL Server, and create APIs with .NET technologies.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using modern frameworks and tools
- Build and support event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka, MQ, and Event Hub
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and SQL Server
- Create APIs and backend services using .NET technologies
- Perform data analysis and reporting support using Power BI
- Develop automation solutions, including job scheduling via Autosys
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Requirements: - Strong hands-on experience with Fenergo, Databricks, and .NET (C# preferred)
- Experience with Kafka, IBM MQ / Messaging systems, and Azure Event Hub
- Proficiency with Power BI, SQL Server (advanced querying, performance tuning), and Python
- Experience with Autosys or similar scheduling tools and GitHub
- Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, distributed systems, data engineering, and API development patterns
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Desired skills: - Experience with KYC (Know Your Customer) or Client Onboarding processes
- Familiarity with MBPM (Metastorm) or similar BPM tools
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Exposure to financial services or regulatory environments
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
