Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
Java Full Stack & AWS Developer with strong hands-on expertise in
Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React/Angular, REST APIs, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native enterprise applications.
The role requires close collaboration with architects, Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions using modern software engineering and AWS cloud practices.
Day to Day Job Duties- Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end enterprise applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
- Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Build responsive and reusable user interfaces using React or Angular.
- Design and deploy cloud-native applications and services on AWS.
- Integrate applications with internal/external APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and AWS services.
- Develop event-driven and asynchronous solutions using AWS and messaging technologies.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and application data-access components.
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot application, API, cloud, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Participate in technical design, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, estimation, and release planning.
Basic Qualifications- 6+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and enterprise application development.
- 4+ years of experience developing Microservices and REST APIs for distributed applications.
- 3+ years of experience with React or Angular, JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS.
Technical Skills- Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate
- Frontend: React/Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Architecture: Microservices, REST APIs, Cloud-Native Architecture
- AWS: EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, EKS/ECS, CloudWatch, IAM
- Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL or other relational databases
- Messaging: Kafka, SQS, SNS or similar technologies
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS
- DevOps: Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, CI/CD
- Testing: JUnit, Mockito, API and Integration Testing
Nice to Have- Experience with AWS serverless architecture using Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS.
- Experience with Amazon EKS/ECS and containerized Microservices.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka.
- Knowledge of AWS IAM, security, networking, and secrets management.
- Experience with application monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or similar tools.
- Understanding of secure coding and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD-based deployments.
- AWS Developer or AWS Solutions Architect certification is preferred.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
