Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Consultant with expert-level, hands-on experience with Informatica CDto scan, catalog, govern, and publish a complex data estate spanning relational, NoSQL, API, and event-driven source systems. The role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, particularly for non-SQL sources such as MongoDB and AWS DocumentDB where native connectors may not be available. The consultant will also design and implement Data Products in Informatica and support enterprise data governance, lineage, curation, and metadata management initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design and execute metadata scanning across relational, NoSQL, API, and event-driven source types into Informatica CDGC. Implement viable scanning solutions for MongoDB and AWS DocumentDB using Informatica tooling, ingestion APIs, and scripted extraction approaches. Catalog REST APIs and microservices as governed assets and integrate event-driven sources such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, and SQS for lineage tracking. Configure connections across Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS S3, and NoSQL platforms. Build and validate end-to-end data lineage from source systems through AWS S3, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. Define and publish Data Products in Informatica Marketplace for governed and consumable asset delivery. Support curation workflows, including classification, glossary association, profiling, and stewardship alignment. Troubleshoot scanning failures, connectivity issues, and metadata quality gaps. Document configurations, ingestion approaches, lineage patterns, and Data Product definitions to support knowledge transfer. Required Qualifications Expert-level, hands-on production experience with Informatica CD including scanning, cataloging, lineage, classification, and Data Products. Hands-on experience with Informatica Profiling, including running and interpreting data profiling to assess data quality, completeness, and data patterns across scanned assets. Experience defining, publishing, and managing Data Products and using Informatica Marketplace. Proven ability to implement metadata ingestion and scanning solutions for sources without native Informatica connectors. Strong knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB and AWS DocumentDB, including schema structures, connection methods, and metadata extraction. Experience cataloging REST APIs and microservices as governed assets in Informatica CDGC. Experience integrating event-driven sources such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, SQS, or equivalent technologies into data catalog and lineage solutions. Strong data engineering skills with Python and/or Java for scripting and ingestion activities. Experience with relational databases including Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as S3, DocumentDB, and Kinesis, as well as Microsoft Azure. Strong understanding of data governance concepts, including catalog management, classification, glossary management, and stewardship workflows. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Power BI lineage integration. Experience with Atacama RDM or Denodo. Experience in financial services or insurance environments. Education: Bachelors Degree
