- You will prepare scopes of work and man-hour estimates for in-house work.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You may be assigned to a similar position at any site or workstation within the commuting area.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparation of designs, specifications and cost estimates for a wide range of shore facility projects; 2) Designs for facilities requiring extensive alterations, modifications or repair to extend their useful life to meet demands placed upon shore facilities; 3) Reviews project plans, specifications and submittals prior to contract aware and during execution for technical soundness, compliance with Navy requirements and to determine practicability from a construction management standpoint.
