Overview:
MasTec Civil is seeking an experienced Project Engineer in the heavy civil/roadway construction field that will provide technical engineering information to project supervision and crafts to ensure construction work complies with all safety regulations, engineering standards, codes and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Ensurethatconstructioncrewscomply withallOSHAregulationsand companysafetypolicies
- ReviewProjectContracts,PlansandSpecificationsintheirentirety
- PrepareProjectScheduleandmonthlyupdates
- Preparequantityreporting,projectcostscashflowprojectionsandforecasting
- Coordinate withsubcontractors,suppliersandworkforce toresolveprojectchallenges, conflicts, and/ortechnical issues
- PrepareandsubmitPrimeandSubcontractorChangeOrders
- Managedocument control toincludesubmittalschedules,contractdocuments, project recorddrawings,etc.
- Prepare andmaintaintechnicalsubmittallist, NPDES permits, Storm,StormWater Pollution Prevention Plan,andProject ProgressSchedule asrequired
- Complywithnoticerequirementssuchasinspections,surveystaking, jointmeasurementswithowner and/orengineer,utility locationsand adjustments,testing, claims,etc.
- Issuecorrespondencetosubcontractorsandvendorswhenrevisedplanand/orspecificationsaffectsproductsorservices
- Assistwithprojectcloseout
- Perform additional assignments per the Project Manager\'s direction
Qualifications:
- B.S.inCivilEngineeringwithemphasisinConstructionEngineeringandManagement
- 5 or more years of experience in the civil construction field on a roadway project(s)
