Job Summary

We are Seeking a full-time Experienced Trust & Estates Professional As an independent CPA firm with a 100-year history, they focus on providing personalized tax and accounting services to closely held private businesses and their owners. This position offers a partnership track for interested candidates and provides competitive benefits, including hybrid scheduling flexibility outside of busy season.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review Individual, Trust & Estate, S-Corporation, and Partnership tax returns.
Ensure compliance with federal and Illinois tax laws and filing requirements.
Prepare fiduciary tax returns (Form 1041) and related supporting schedules.
Perform tax research and resolve tax compliance issues.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet tax deadlines and ensure accurate filings.

Required Qualifications

Recent 3+ years’ experience from Public Accounting Firm is a must for this role
Experience in Preparing/Reviewing Income Tax Returns
Strong experience with Trusts Tax Returns and Estates Tax Returns
Must have Knowledge in Federal & Illinois Tax Laws
Experience with Individual Taxation, S-Corp Taxation & Partnership Taxation
