Located in Somerset County, Matheny Medical and Educational Center has an opportunity available for a
Full Time Maintenance Mechanic. This position is five days per week, Monday-Friday. Duties of this position include:- Repairs and maintains mechanical systems, including electrical, plumbing and heating.
- Maintains a neat and orderly appearance of all grounds and buildings.
- Sets up tables, chairs, and other items for various functions as needed.
- Picks ups various supplies, parts, and building materials and delivers items to various locations as needed.
- Assembles and installs equipment as necessary.
- Completes preventative maintenance checks according to schedule and documents/reports as required by regulations.
- Provides on-call service on a scheduled basis.
- Completes maintenance work orders.
- Maintains working knowledge of all emergency systems and procedures including fire alarm procedures.
- Executes work orders that support all Matheny locations

The hourly wage for this position is $20.51 - $30.76 per hour.

Licensure/Certifications:New Jersey Low-Pressure Boiler Operator\'s License (Black Seal) preferred.
Certified Pool & Operator (CPO) preferred.
ASHE Certified Health Care Physical Environment Worker (CHCPEW) preferred.
New Jersey Driver's license required.
CFC/Universal Certificate, Type II, 40-CFR, Part 82, Subpart F, preferred
