Description
We are looking for a Performance Engineer with SRE experience to focus on application performance, scalability, system tuning, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Performance Engineering experience, with SRE practices as a secondary skill set.
Required Skills
· Strong experience in Performance Engineering and system performance optimization.
· Experience with performance analysis, load testing, bottleneck identification, and system tuning.
· Strong understanding of application performance, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
· Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, or Prometheus.
· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
· Good knowledge of Linux and scripting using Python, Shell, or similar.
· Experience working in CI/CD and DevOps environments.
· Working knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and practices.
Responsibilities
· Analyze application and system performance and identify bottlenecks.
· Perform performance optimization, tuning, and scalability analysis.
· Support load testing and analyze performance results.
· Monitor system health, reliability, and performance using observability tools.
· Work with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to resolve performance and reliability issues.
· Support production stability, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.
· Contribute to SRE practices around monitoring, alerting, automation, and reliability.
Preferred
· Experience in telecom or large enterprise environments.
· Experience with automation and performance optimization strategies.
· Exposure to SRE, production support, and incident management.
Key Focus: Performance Engineering is the primary requirement, with SRE as a secondary skill set. This is a Performance Engineer role, not a Performance Test Engineer role
