What You'll Be DoingAs a FinOps Analyst, you'll help organizations make smarter financial decisions around cloud adoption and infrastructure investments by:
- Building and maintaining cloud spend forecasts and budgeting models
- Analyzing cloud consumption trends and translating usage data into financial insights
- Monitoring actual spend versus forecast and identifying risks, trends, and optimization opportunities
- Partnering with engineering, infrastructure, and finance teams to understand cost drivers
- Supporting cloud governance initiatives and financial management best practices
- Developing executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings through utilization analysis, resource optimization, and planning
- Providing leadership teams with data-driven recommendations that influence strategic technology investments

Translate complex cloud usage patterns into clear financial recommendations
Build accurate forecasting models that improve budgeting accuracy

Identify optimization opportunities that reduce waste and improve cost efficiency
Drive visibility into cloud financial performance through reporting and analytics
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, Financial Analysis, FP&A, Budgeting, Forecasting, or related disciplines
- Experience managing cloud-related budgets, forecasting, cost analysis, or financial reporting
- Understanding of cloud consumption-based pricing models across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience partnering with technical teams to understand infrastructure utilization and cost impacts
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
- Financial modeling
- Pivot tables
- Data analysis
- Reporting and dashboards
- Experience presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting cloud migration or cloud transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with cloud billing and financial management tools
- Experience with chargeback, showback, cost allocation, or cloud governance models
- Exposure to cloud cost optimization strategies such as rightsizing, commitments, and resource planning
- Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
