RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator.
Summary:
This role will design, administer, and support critical enterprise infrastructure across Microsoft Windows, virtual, and physical server environments. The Senior Systems Administrator will maintain a complex Active Directory environment, support data center operations, develop automation solutions, and troubleshoot system, hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
Responsibilities include:
* Senior System Administrator will support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and multi-domain forests
* Administer VMware virtualized and physical server environments
* Develop infrastructure automation using PowerShell and other scripting tools
* Install, configure, and maintain third-party enterprise applications
* Support storage, backup, and highly available infrastructure environments
* As a Senior System Administrator, you will create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure components and network flows
* Troubleshoot system, hardware, software, and infrastructure issues and assist with outage remediation
* Collaborate with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred; Equivalent professional experience considered
* Microsoft certification such as MCSE, MCTS, or MCSA required upon hire
* CCNA, VCP, Citrix, Linux/Unix, backup, and database administration experience are pluses
* 4+ years of senior-level systems administration, Windows engineering, or comparable enterprise infrastructure experience
* 4+ years supporting enterprise data center environments
* 4+ years of VMware administration and storage administration experience
* 4+ years supporting multi-domain Active Directory forests, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
* Strong Windows Server and PowerShell administration experience
* Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and SQL Server
* Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting; C#, VBScript, or similar scripting languages preferred
* Experience supporting highly available, fault-tolerant, or clustered environments
* Knowledge of network administration and physical/virtual infrastructure design
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
