Genesis10 is currently seeking an Enterprise Architect for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ or Birmingham, AL. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role will focus on maturing an Architecture Assurance capability, which is the continuous validation of architectural intent through automation, observability, policy-as-code, and AI-enabled governance. The successful candidate will enable the Enterprise Architecture to govern at an enterprise scale without slowing delivery.
Responsibilities: - Develop automated compliance and architecture assurance capabilities
- Establish policy-as-code and standards-as-code practices
- Build AI-assisted architecture review and governance workflows
- Create architecture telemetry, health metrics, and drift detection capabilities
- Enable context-aware governance across applications, APIs, data flows, infrastructure, and AI agents
- Integrate governance controls directly into platform engineering and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements: - Architecture skills including Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF), Architecture Governance, Application, Data, and API Architecture, and Reference Architectures/Engineering Patterns
- Engineering & Automation skills including Software Development, APIs and Integration, Platform Engineering, CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and Automation Engineering
- Data & Intelligence skills including Data Modeling, Metadata Management, Architecture Repositories, Graph/Knowledge Platforms, and Analytics/Reporting
- AI & Emerging Technology skills including AI/Agent Development, RAG and Retrieval Patterns, AI Governance, Prompt Engineering, and Agent Orchestration Concepts
- Assurance & Controls skills including Policy as Code, Continuous Compliance, Control Automation, Architecture Telemetry, Observability, Flow Analysis, and Trust Boundary Validation
Pay range: $65.00 - $73.00 per hour
