Role Overview
Our organization is seeking a senior-level Oracle Developer to lead and mentor a team of developers in delivering technology solutions. The selected individual will provide technical direction, ensure system design aligns with business outcomes, and uphold high standards for coding and quality. This role involves leading feature delivery, including the development of complex ETL models in a data warehousing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead feature delivery, including technical design, development, testing, and migration of Oracle objects.
- Mentor and provide technical direction to a team of developers.
- Participate in status meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure system design and requirements align with business outcomes.
- Act as a liaison for production activities and issues.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of database scalability and performance.
- Utilize versioning tools such as Git/Bitbucket and set up jobs using Autosys for automation.
- Advocate for modern application development and deployment practices like Agile, CI/CD, and automated testing.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 6+ years of Data Warehousing experience, including manipulation and transformation of large datasets.
- 6+ years of experience with relational database management systems, particularly Oracle, including developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- 6+ years of SQL and PL/SQL development experience with Oracle DBMS.
- 6+ years using TOAD, Unix Shell Scripting, Autosys, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency with Oracle Database Platforms.
- Advanced analytical, debugging, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, tools, and best practices.
- Demonstrable risk identification skills.
Education:- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Global Human Resource, Global Finance, or Real Estate data domains.
- Technology development experience in the Financial Services or Banking industry.
- Advanced experience in Unix Shell Scripts, Autosys, and TOAD for Oracle.
- Working knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and other Big Data analytics technologies.
- Experience with AI/ML tools and integration (e.g., Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, Claude).
- Experience in Agile Scrum, DevOps, SAFe, or Disciplined Agile methodologies.
- Expertise in data regulation and best practices in data management and governance.
