Summary

Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist, PLC Controls

Location: Pryor, OK (Tulsa area)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000 to $95,000 per year

Be the go-to controls expert at a growing paper packaging manufacturer, troubleshooting and improving systems across the entire facility.

Must-Haves

1 to 3+ years as an electrical maintenance technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to program, monitor, and modify PLC and DCS control logic
Strong troubleshooting skills with sensors, transmitters, controllers, automated valves, and instrumentation
Knowledge of calibrations, industrial communications, motion control, and AC/DC control power
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology, or a vocational certificate in electronic controls or instrumentation (equivalent experience considered)
Ability to work independently and with engineers, operators, and contractors

What You\'ll Do

Assess, program, and repair PLCs, HMIs, drives, and control systems
Troubleshoot process control systems and field devices
Serve as a technical resource for operations and maintenance teams
Support capital project installations of instrumentation and controls
Back up programs and update documentation, schematics, and drawings
Support daily activities, shutdowns, and long-term E&I planning
Support reliability programs, including thermography, ultrasound, and motor and power analysis
Work across paper machine, fiber processing, automated warehouse, effluent treatment, and boiler and utility systems

Nice-to-Haves

Paper manufacturing or heavy industrial experience
Robotics experience

$90,000 to $95,000 per year
